What is it?

Edge Youth Centre at Currambine Community Centre offers a range of creative programs and activities for young people as well as access information, support and referral services from fully qualified Youth Workers.

What’s On


Mondays 3.30pm – 7.30pm

Ages 15 – 25


Music EDGE consists of FREE music studio and music production services, drop-in space, and a jam space.

Music studio and production services facilitated by qualified music producer and includes beat making, track recording, song writing, mixing and more.
Drop-In space activities includes board games, video games, cooking and art workshops and more.

Freestyle Edge

Tuesdays 4.00pm – 6.00pm (During school term)
Ages 11 – 18

Freestyle Edge is based around Dance, Breaking, Acro and Performance. Amazing Workshop facilitation and online video content by S Productions following tutorials, step-by-step breakdowns and feedback on Hip Hop, Break Dancing and Acro routines.

Join our group to connect to our fantastic facilitators and other young people to access content for beginners and advanced. Head to the Youth Service Facebook page to join the Freestyle online group.

CONNECT EDGE – Online Program hosted by EDGE

Thursdays 4:30 – 7:00pm

Ages 13 – 25


Connect EDGE is term-based program, all about eSports, Role Playing Games, and social connection. It will feature a different eSport or RPG each term.

Term 3 is Dungeons and Dragons – The Scarlet Citadel

At its heart, D&D is a game that focuses on storytelling. The dice just help you along. Everything is your decision, from what you look like, to how you act, to what happens next.

Dungeons & Dragons is about having fun with your friends. Together you build a shared narrative, as you guide your heroes through quests for treasure, battle with deadly foes, engage in courtly intrigue, enact daring rescues and much more. Whether you want to join a pirate gang that loves combat, revel in the exploration of hidden jungle ruins, or enjoy the social interaction of a political plot is entirely up to you.


This program requires a smart device, internet connection and is hosted through Discord.

Previous terms have focused on Dungeon and Dragons, Rocket League, Burn Bryte and Tales from the Loop.

A series of videos created by Together in Music and EDGE Youth Centre that aims to use music to help young people cope with Stress, School and Study, Mental Health, Physical Health and Body Image issues.

Music therapy is a research-based health practice in which music is used to actively support people as they aim to improve their health, functioning and well-being. It can help people of all ages to manage their physical/mental health and enhance their quality of life.
