Edge Youth Centre at Currambine Community Centre offers a range of creative programs and activities for young people as well as access information, support and referral services from fully qualified Youth Workers.

Music Edge and Drop-In
Mondays 3.30pm – 7.30pm
Ages 15 – 25

Music Edge gives young people the opportunity to create and produce music. Young people can access the custom built studio with industry professionals to develop their skills and hone their craft. Equipment includes Pro Tools, Ableton, 2 X Macs and a fully equipped studio.
Come down to the centre for Drop-In activities such as cooking workshops, boards games and music jam room. A safe space to hang out and meet new people.

Freestyle Edge
Tuesdays 4.00pm – 6.00pm (During school term)

Freestyle Edge is based around Dance, Breaking, Acro and Performance. Amazing Workshop facilitation and online video content by S Productions following tutorials, step-by-step breakdowns and feedback on Hip Hop, Break Dancing and Acro routines.

Music Therapy at Edge

Music Therapy at Edge is facilitated by Together in Music and is based on Group Music Therapy and Video Series relating to the benefits music can bring.
Music therapy is a research-based health practice in which music is used to actively support people as they aim to improve their health, functioning and well-being. It can help people of all ages to manage their physical and mental health and enhance their quality of life.
Currently taking registrations of interest for Group Music Therapy.
Current Video Series is ‘Intentional Playlists’ a series of videos that aims to use music to improve Coping with Stress, School and Study Problems, Mental Health, Physical Health and Body Image

Dungeons and Dragons is about creating a character that embarks upon imaginary adventures within a fantasy setting. The core of D&D is storytelling. You and your party tell a story together, guiding your heroes through quests for treasure, battles with deadly foes, daring rescues, courtly intrigue, and more.
Hosted online through Discord, Zoom and Roll20.net.
Beginners and veterans welcomed.
