As a direct result of the Covid-19 pandemic, Joondalup’s Youth Service spaces are currently closed for public access, however we are busy working behind the scenes to provide support to young people over the telephone and online.
We are also focusing on developing some tutorials for various programs, competitions and exciting online resources and programs to keep young people engaged. Thanks for staying with us and make sure you check back here regularly.

The City of Joondalup Youth Services Team
As the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia continues to grow, the City of Joondalup Youth Services team has made the difficult decision to suspend all youth services effective Monday 23 March to Friday 24 April 2020. These dates may change as the situation evolves.
The City’s Youth Services team is disappointed events and services require cancellation but is taking measures to limit the effects and spread of COVID-19 on the community.
Suspended services and events include:
• EDGE Youth Centre
o Music EDGE
o Freestyle EDGE
o Dungeons and Dragons
o Music Therapy
• Anchors Youth Centre
o My Life
o Friday Night Drop-in
o April Youth Holiday Program
• Mobile Youth Service – Youth Truck
o School visits
o Attendance at community events
o Attendance at Shepherd’s Bush, Mirror Park Skate Park, Beldon Park, Juniper Park and Kinross Skate Park
• Defeat the Beat 2020 Music Competition
The team is working hard at creative ways to continue providing engagement and support for young people in our community.
